But, your cards will often be down for hours at a time. People will be unresponsive and rude when you mention the cards are offline, or they will offhandedly mention that "they will be back on soon", keeping the cards offline for hours at a time on a regular basis. The team over at Meta Computing Systems released this promotional YouTube video.

As you can see from the video, they market their services with buzzwords, such as "secure", "scalable", and "connected"; lots of fluff, little meaningful content.

At 0:53, you can see their co-founder Ronnie Do holding a phone showing revenue you can make with their "services". Their "services" include making use of HiveOS, a publicly available and easy-to-use software, and charging you over 1 month's worth of cryptocurrency mining revenue as an installation fee if you bring your own cards. Did I forget to mention that the cards are often down for hours at a time?

I'm not sure what their video title "Let's Make Computing Accessible to Everyone" is referring to, seeing as the only "Computing" taking place is hashing for cryptocurrencies, and the only people they are helping make that available to are those who pay their usurious management fees.

The revenue estimates shown on the phone screen at 0:53 are a far cry from the amount of money you will actually make if you go with their services, due to changes in the Ethereum mining network and the high management fees that Meta Computing Systems charges.

They have the following cryptocurrency revenue calculator on their website. The following is a screenshot from February 9th, 2022.

You'll notice that this $4/day figure for one RTX 3080 matches the calculator from cryptocompare.com below.

However, this assumes $0 in electricity costs, and also does not factor in their extortionate management fees. Thus, the number they are showing is your gross earnings, not your net earnings. They do not mention anywhere on their website or on the earnings calculator the cost of their management fees, thereby misleading potential buyers.

Conclusion: Misleading Information, Extortionate Fees, Poor Service, Little Knowledge. STAY AWAY FROM META COMPUTING SYSTEMS!
